In the morning, all our guests sit down to a full, country style breakfast.
We are licensed to serve beer and wine, so at day's end, you can sip a glass of wine or relax on the front porch or back deck with a frosted glass of one of Vermont's local craft beers. Or, speaking of local, we highly recommend that you visit the Longtrail Brewery yourself. It's just across the street from the inn. Sit by the Ottaquechee River, sample one or more of Longtrail's extensive craft brew selections, and let the essence of Vermont wash over you. Unlike a typical Vermont bed and breakfast, we also serve dinner. Although not always available, when it is, don't miss a chance to have dinner with us. Our dinners, besides being delicious, are really a lot of fun. You will delight in our convivial family style atmosphere. Come casually dressed, in a good mood, and be prepared to meet an inn full of interesting people. Our dinners are all internationally themed, and served family style. Our French country dinner, and our Italian country dinner, get consistently high marks from our guests. Our personal favorite, maybe because we're from southern California, is our Mexican country dinner. All food is prepared and cooked by Chuck, from scratch, featuring local ingredients whenever possible. Our typical dinner includes soup, a chicken, fish or beef entree, vegetable, and rice or pasta side dishes, lightly dressed green-leaf salad, locally baked bread, dessert, and coffee or tea. We are sensitive to our guests' dietary preferences or restrictions and do our best to offer appropriate alternatives. Beer and wine are not included, but are available. |
